Each day we are bombarded by all sorts of stressors: physical, mental/emotional and environmental. It is how we react and respond to these challenges that determines the level of wellness we obtain. This proposes the important question becomes "How do I take control of my Life" |
|
" Think and Grow Well" |
Thoughts have power. The thoughts you think determines the actions you take which create the fabric of your life. So, how can you take the power of your thoughts and weave a life filled with wellness? In past articles I wrote about two important actions steps: mindful decision making and meditation. This is how they intertwine.
Through meditation you deepen your relationship with what is known as your true nature, your core essence, or your soul. Regardless of the label you choose, it is this connection that allows you to discover your purpose in life, your true desires and passion for living. Meditation and quiet contemplation help you define the philosophy that you live your life by. Continuing this practice over time will refine your philosophy creating a strong foundation allowing you to be fully present when making lifestyle choices.
As a result of this self discovery you start asking yourself more discerning questions about your life and the choices you have to make. This allows you to make choices that are congruent with the life you want to live. Everyone has a philosophy they live their life by. My question to you is, "Has yours been created by conscious choice or default."
Having wellness as a centerpiece for your life is easy when you use your inner guidance. The quality of your thoughts come from the questions you ask yourself based on the philosophy you choose to live by. Meditate, ask questions, make mindful choices and define your philosophy, they are all intertwined. Now you can "Think and Grow Well".
